上一集故事中提到，爸請來脫穀工人使用脫穀機幫小麥脫粒，八匹馬套在機器上拉著它轉動，這台八匹馬力的機器，把一捆捆的麥捆吞下去，再把小麥跟麥稈吐出來。羅娜很自豪有這樣願意嘗試新發明的爸爸，讓大家的農活變得事半功倍許多。
