美しいオオルリのさえずりが朝の谷間にこだましていました。
パラボラマイクは狙った音源との距離を縮めます。パラボラディッシュの放物線は50m離れた鳥の声を数メートル先に引き寄せ、周囲の音を適度に減衰させます。その背景音がステレオなのはTelingaならでは。
15年以上経っても遜色のない、素晴らしいネイチャーサウンドです。

庭のマサキに潜むクサヒバリの鳴き声です。小泉八雲 ラフカディオ・ハーンは「草雲雀」のなかで「かすかな、かすかな銀鈴が波だちふるえるような声」と表現しました。私には絶対表現できません。本当に素晴らしいです。。。

赤川河口の草地にて。庄内に移って最初の年の録音を調べてみると、ヒロバネカンタンをたくさん録音していて、かなり入れ込んでいたようです。この日の録音ではハマナスやグミの藪で鳴いている一匹にマイクを近づけた記憶です。

南方系の大型のコオロギで、日本海側の北限は福井県あたり。下調べして遠征しました。若狭湾に面した森の中での録音です。
グリーーー、グリーーと静かに夜の闇に響く声。初めて聞く声でしたが、すぐにそれとわかりました。寂しげな、でも何か落ち着くいい声です。頭上でシリシリ・・・と高い声を響かせているのはヤブキリ。時々鳴くセミはアブラゼミ？アオバズクの声も聞こえます。

マイクはTelinga DAT Stereo。パラボラマイクながらステレオ集音できて、とてもお気に入りのマイクでした。2005年購入して、現在はスポンジが崩壊して引退しています。当時の録音をあらためて聞くと、低ノイズと高い集音能力で本当に素晴らしいです。
