Dear has written out an amazing story to introduce us to every corner and aspect of the RPG Numenera, a game I had never heard of, and leaves me wanting for of the world's exploration and the growth of the main character Januae while he struggles to control his teleporting ability and fate.

I had never heard of the Numernara game previous to listening to this show. But the way that David has built the show within the 9th World is amazing. It quickly became one of my favorite shows and is one that I look forward to new episodes dropping.

United Kingdom5 years ago I've loved A Ninth World Journal since the first listen. Let it draw you in, and don't worry if you don't know the game -- you don't need to. This is storytelling at its finest, with a cast and story that are just amazing.
Podchaser55 years agoShannon PerryI had never encountered Numenera before hearing this podcast, but that didn't make it any less exciting and fantastic! Now I'm hoping to play Numenera with my friends some day.
The main character is nuanced and compelling. The story is constantly shifting and keeping you on your toes. The narration is excellent. I love the narrator's voice!

Quantum Leap meets Numenara, with a splash of Doctor Who. This is a great audio drama that makes excellent use is the setting from Numenara. Even if you haven't played the RPG (I haven't!), you will absolutely enjoy this.
