  • Very helpful podcast for ABA

This podcast has helped me understand many different important aspects of ABA that sometimes go overlooked. This podcast delves deep into aspects of ABA that may not necessarily be discussed in ABA literature, such as how to address technician burnout effectively.

  • Super informational!!!

I listened to episode 37 talking about pica and it was great listening to studies on how to extinguish the behavior. It made me realize how important it is to make sure that the behavior is not from something else biological going on before you start trying to proceed with treatment.

  • Great Podcast!

As an ABA student, I found this podcast to be an excellent resource to gain more insight into the field. I listened to episode 291 on Ethics and it was really interesting to listen to the various ethical dilemmas that may arise as a practicing BCBA. I would recommend this podcast to other students!

  • Educational and Humoristic!

In episode 2, host, and co-host conducted literature reviews while discussing hypothesis on “traditional pairing” and “discriminative stimulus pairing” (2016) pointing out the importance of identifying previous learner history in order to successfully acquire a new conditioned reinforcement. They utilize modern humor to keep listeners engaged while using common ABA language. A point I found amusing is how often we use conditioned reinforcers on a daily basis, for instance in our relationships or... more
