  • The best podcast

This podcast is incredible. A really high level of discussion and engagement with ideas that really matter to the world, at this point in time. This is highly useful in pushing forward my own thinking,

both in relation to my academic and creative life. Thanks all involved xxx

  • Mediocre claptrap

Looks like esotericism is the new grift these days. This show is mostly nobody pseudo-academics giving their uninformed rambles disguised as some form of “edgy” wisdom. There are better podcasts with more real depth and rigour out there. I have this many attempts - could not finish even one episode. My ears are allergic to mediocrity, no thank you!

  • Good stuff, but please…

…let the guests speak for themselves. Sometimes the presenters veer towards showboating. And yes, sometimes references or explanations/contexts for some of the more obscure references would be helpful.

  • Brilliant

Being honest, quite a bit of the content goes above my head as someone only just venturing into philosophy etc but it doesnt stop me from listening. I’m a depth psychology and so have particularly enjoyed the episodes about James hillman.

  • a man, bloviating. JFC

literally has woman expert on, asks her an overly detailed (non-conversational) question, then doesn’t let her answer. talks on and on and on in theory dude speak AT her for 10 mins. the person who literally wrote the book on it sits in silence. the topics are so interesting! i’d saved so many to my queue, and was looking forward to it, and this man is well read, he should know better! but no, he does not — so, unfollow, remove all from queue until this man learns to talk WITH people, women, esp... more
