This podcast is incredibly comprehensive and has been so informative. I’m a little behind but after listening to part three of the mt tambora episode I felt it necessary to write a review. Genuinely the most impactful episode of “podcastry” I’ve ever listened to. Keep up the amazing work, hope to see some content about whaling or polar explorat... more
This is a great listen. Coming to it late but very much appreciate Chris’ enthusiasm, research and focus on lesser-known life stories.
Really enjoying this podcast as a new listener. Well researched and informative, only criticism I have is when Chris quotes Queen V in a cringy voice that becomes hard to understand and very distracting from the quotes content itself. Looking forward to further episodes.
I have been listening to this podcast non stop, I was using audible to fill all my Victorian needs, but this podcast is so good I cancelled my audible. This is THE best source of comprehensive Victorian era information. Period.
What an unmitigated pleasure this podcast is. Brilliantly researched that focuses on the human element of the Victorians as well as the important historical milestones.
