Older than the U.S. Air Force itself, AFAS traces its roots back to 1942 and the great 5-Star General Henry “Hap” Arnold. His vision of an organization that embodied the ideal of Airmen helping Airmen still drives our mission today. Tune in and learn how we’re still delivering on this mission and continuing to make an impact in the lives of so many Air Force families.

This podcast has re-introduced me to a feeling I only had when I was in the air force. Airmen Helping Airmen is truly the Air Force way.
Episode 2 really explained military aid societies well, which, as a civilian, I appreciated.
As a veteran of the USAF, this podcast is just what this generation of Airmen need to hear. The host is charismatic and intelligent and provides the guests a platform to explain their individual organization, explain in laments terms what their goals are and give an informed breakdown on how to go about utilizing their services. After listening to the first episode I was totally hooked and I encourage those who have listen to the podcast to subscribe as well.
