  • Great Alaska advice

I went to Alaska for 2 weeks for my honeymoon in August and binged this podcast in the lead up to the trip. Jennie has great advice and recommendations that I was able to use on the trip. Her guests are always interesting, and I like the format of asking them all the same 3 questions at the end. It helped me set my expectations because as she correctly informs us all the time, Alaska is really different! I had a wonderful time and will keep listening as I can't wait to go back.

  • Content that is informative, applicable, and a fun listen!

This is the best Alaska trip planning podcast available! The information is relevant and useful. I particularly love the Alaska traveler series and learning about off the beaten path opportunities. And I have a terrific list of restaurant recommendations.

  • I Love This Podcast!

The Alaska Uncovered podcast is everything it claims to be: informative, honest and fun. Jennie and Jay are a great team and each has their own Alaska experience and perspective. Jennie books very interesting guests and is an excellent interviewer. I’ve learned a lot from this podcast. I can’t wait to see how it compares to Alaska irl!

  • Valley girls avoiding the great outdoors

I expected this to help me plan a trip to Denali. The best hikes, ranger talks, guided walks…. Things like that. Unfortunately, I learned nothing… they discussed the style of the rooms available, wifi and connectivity, elevators and their favorite restaurants. There was a bit more but not enough to call it a planning podcast.
