Politically I couldn’t agree more with both Danny and Derek, but jeeeeesus is Danny ever a smarmy clown. Rude, kinda toxic, catty, and brutally dismissive. In what universe is this an acceptable approach to discourse? Want to listen to a self-important jerk toot his own horn for an hour while successfully alienating any listeners or guests who might not agree with him? You’ll love this!
i’ve listened on and off over the years, but i’ve noticed in some episodes the conversations with guests can feel more hostile than productive. I hope they can overcome the cynicism and lean into the educational/informative aspects more
Can’t believe the guest wrote an entire book for an already debunked—admittedly still very widespread—topic about the supremacy of American style democracy!
Every single one of his point or “evidence” is either counter factual or fantastical.
Appreciate the pushbacks from the hosts, but they would be more powerful if more facts are cited, not mainly philosophical debates.
The topics and interviewees are great, thought provoking, and illuminating. I wish that the main moderator wasn’t so rude. He interrupts, talks over interlocutors, and mansplains all the time.
