  • A can’t miss Gator sports podcast, but the sound

Here are the two main issues: It doesn’t sound as though Pat’s microphone is turned on when it’s just him talking. If it is turned on there’s something wrong with the set up. His voice comes across like he’s in a cavern. Mainly it sounds like it’s being recorded straight into the computer’s built in mic. When he has a guest on via zoom, he usually puts a headset on with a real mic and the quality immediately improves on his end, but way too much and too loud. And then the guest is usually way to... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode #519 ~ HBC Steve Spurrier
Q: Can you comment on the recent games and the teams involved?
The college football, as we talked about last week, is pretty much not going to change. The stubbornness of the two conferences has come out.
Episode #519 ~ HBC Steve Spurrier
Q: How are you good about that, letting the noise go? Because you, I mean, there were some people that when they did things, you called them out on it.
Every now and then, you could call them out a little bit. I saw where Dabbo had to call out Ole Miss for tampering.
Episode #518 ~ Connor O'Gara
Q: Do you think a lot of college football teams are gonna try to take the Signetti approach to it?
It would be disrespectful to Indiana to say you can just look at the blueprint and copy it because there are so many elements to this that are really difficult.
Episode #518 ~ Connor O'Gara
Q: How hard was it not to be? There's a rule. We all know the rule. No cheering in the press box.
It was as hard as it's ever been in my entire life.
Episode #514 ~ Scott Stricklin
Q: How do you view your Athletic Director role in today's college sports ecosystem?
Like the owner of a pro franchise, you're responsible but hire people to do the work.
