I was looking forward to listening to the debate with Doug Wilson. However, very little of the debate was had, therefore the title is misleading. We heard very little from Doug’s side of the argument and instead heard the other side’s viewpoint over and over. It’s as if he felt he was not able to get his point across as well as he would have liked at the live event so he had to use this podcast to make his points without argument from Doug. I had the “pleasure” of listening to a bad faith debate with a progressive Christian pastor, Brandan Robertson. There was a whole lot of anger and ad hominem attacks coming from the interviewers, as Pastor Robertson remained calm and measured. By the measure of Proverbs 15:1, if there is a “winner” in such a discourse, it was clearly not the interviewer. Take a breath, sit it silence, and listen to the voice of the Lord.
