Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies... more

I enjoy the show very much and like hearing from the guests more than banter with aloof, monotone, simple minded Monica. The edits are messy and it makes me wonder what was cut. Especially in episodes with so much information from amazing people. It makes my brain sad, as do Monica’s limited contributions. I’m embarrassed for her when she speaks, and she is incredibly out of touch. I end up cutting off the second half of the podcast because I want the interview but not chit chat. I do like casu... more

Love these real convos. I can’t stop listening!
Dax and Monica live in their own millionaire bubble. All the interviews end up with Dax mentioning his addiction, sobriety, lack of father figure, his mother or some kind of machista comment. Monica is there to mention her cheerleading glory years, the house that she has been building for what seems 23 years and her or the guest’s outfit. Dax should have been cancelled so many times for comments he has made. For me, it was the JVN interview. He’s shown his true colors many times.
