I am a long time listener to the show and I do love it (hence the 5 stars) but I do miss the more gritty vibe of the early days - Gary is just too professional! (Sorry Gary) it’s like I’m listening to the radio - which is it’s own thing I guess but I prefer the more laid back chatty style where we got to hear what the hosts had been up to at the start. Also I’ve noticed a lot more male artists featured since he came along which I’m just less interested in in general.
I felt disconnected from art for along time while I was going through my own hustle/burnout phase, but I’ve made my way back to my artist roots to create my own niche of work as a brand artist, so I love platforms that support artists, their creativity, their professional goals….creativity is something we all innately have, but sometimes can’t recognize. Hearing authentic stories from so many different types of creatives is so inspiring!

Well done Fiona and Julie and Gary! I love your podcast - it is an essential tool in my studio - I listen when I'm stuck or need inspiration, I listen to and from the studio or school to get in the right productive mood and listen when it's a bit quiet in the studio and I feel like a 'chat' but want to keep working! Keep going!!!!
Love this podcast, it’s witty, truthful and engaging.
I really enjoy this podcast. I’ve only discovered it properly in last few months. I find I benefit every episode from some gem of advice or insight from the artists they showcase, and I’ve learned more about Sydney-based galleries. Congratulations
