Q: How does your process as an editor change when you're working in this visual effects space?
I try to cut the sequence the way I want to and not be limited by the limitations of VFX.
S25 - Ep 4 - Navy Public Affairs in Hollywood
Q: How did the Navy interact with Hollywood, and what did both want from the other side?
The Navy's role was to cooperate with film production companies by providing ships and personnel for authenticity, while Hollywood sought real naval elements for their films.

Q: What do you hope Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander audiences will feel when they see the world you've created on screen?

S25 - Ep 1 - Chief of War - Production Design
Q: Out of all the sets that you did, did you have one that was maybe your favorite or maybe one that was the most challenging that you worked on?
The Koala Eihau was my favorite for its complexity, while the Kahu Stronghold was the most challenging due to its logistical demands during shoots.
S25 - Ep 1 - Chief of War - Production Design
Q: Did you feel that because the series itself is both filmed in Hawaii and in New Zealand, did you feel that there were very much cultural similarities or were they very different when you had to actually navigate the sort of cultural norms from the two different spaces that you guys were filming?
There were similarities and relationships between the two cultures, though the differences in vegetation and geography were quite pronounced and challenging when transitioning between filming locations.
