I have enjoyed every chapter in this reading of Bleak House! Mil Nicholson does indeed give different voices for the characters and brings them to life. A great listen for all Dickens enthusiasts.

Mil Nicholson (the reader) is absolutely amazing. There are so many characters in this book and she gives each character such depth and keeps all of their voices so separate that the story really just comes to life. I absolutely adored it. I loved the book and I definitely credit her reading with how much I enjoyed it. The book would not have impacted me quite as much anyone less talented had read it. I’m so so so grateful. Sometimes Librivox can drive you crazy....with the CONSTANT a& unnecessary repetition of "this is a Librivox...." and with narrators with accents so bad they literally cannot be understood. But THIS is GREAT stuff. As good as or better than any you could buy.
