The rotating cast of characters on this show is truly captivating. Great author interviews and interesting takes on book new and old as well as interesting podcast reviews. You just have to put up with the occasional Comic Books! and Dr. Who commentary. Lol. I love it. Hosted regularly by a guy on the East Coast, one on the West Coast and another up there in America's Hat.....aka......Soviet Toronto, Canuckistan.
Great show that covers many topics from business books to sci-fi/fanatsy. Also great coverage of book news and books in TV and movies.
For a show that notoriously claims it's lacking in post-editing, this show's very well designed & informative. Rarely am I interested in the books discussed, but I still listen in each week. The jingles are great too. Every podcast should do professional jingles - it's a small thing that familiarizes/endears the listenership. Amazing work, Book Guys.
I’m really glad I found this podcast. You ever read a really good book and the next few reads seem labor intensive? Have you ever thought, someone needs to come along and tell me what to read next so I don’t have to sift through all this garbage? This is that podcast. The guys are fantastic at breezing through topics in an entertaining way. This is a keeper for me.
Always excited to hear what everyone on the panel is reading. Often add one of their books to my "to read" list. Keep up the good work guys - this girl really enjoys your show. It was great seeing all of your faces during the Padre podcast. Now I can put a face with the voice.
