Book Vs. Movie is the podcast that ponders the question: "Which was better...the book or the movie?" We spoil away the details, uncover the plot points, discuss casting choices and shower with praise (or pummel with snark) as we see fit. Hosts are Margo P. (She's Nacho Mama's Blog) and Margo D. (Creator of Brooklyn Fit Chick.com) and we are not afraid to tell it like it is!

  • Thanks, but no thanks.

I listened for 30 minutes and bailed after the flow of the show was disrupted by the third ad break, not including the ads at the top of the show. The show editing is also very poor and disrupts the flow of the conversation. Ads don’t occur at natural break points. They’re often inserted in the middle of sentences, and the sentences are sometimes in the middle of a thought. It’s like watching sitcom reruns on a second tier cable channel where money from ads takes precedence over quality of cont... more

  • So many inaccuracies

Just listened to The Little Foxes episode and it’s not good. They don’t remember the character’s names, mess up the plot and get a bunch of the history wrong - I won’t be following this show.

  • It’s fine

I have been going through the back catalogue and it’s fine. The audio quality is not good, maybe it gets better later. I listened to the Bruce Lee episode and one of the hosts made a serious comment that ‘most people hate the person who mows their lawn’, trying to prove how racist the country is. Speak for yourself, lady, I’m out.
