I recently have moved and my commute has become longer. The silverning is time to listen to bowel sounds. It's a fantastic resource on all peds GI. Peter, Temara, Jennifer and Jayson are very relatable and navigate the questions like pros. I highly recommend (as I have been) to all peds GI colleagues and pediatricians wanting to learn a bit more about the sorcery that is peds GI.
Our hospital has a perpetual peds GI shortage and these lectures help to streamline what to refer and what can be managed by the hospitalist
Episodes are helpful in my clinical practice as a primary care doc. Especially loved the one about cow milk protein allergy/intolerance/proctocolitis/all the names it has 😂 and the one about social determinants of health and IBD with Dr. Ali from my residency program! Yay Sabina!
First few minutes of podcast re: hosts discussing a toddler birthday party, silly (describing one of their children eating at a snack table while adults stood around watching.) and a waste of time on a medical podcast. The rest of the podcast with the pediatric GI surgeon was excellent. He explained the condition, manifestations, and surgical interventions in a clear and thorough manner.
I absolutely love listening to Bowel Sounds during my study periods. As a person that suffers from a motility disorder and also aspires to be a Pedi Gastro it’s a fantastic podcasts to learn more.
