David’s poems reverberate the cruelty,anguish,and racial injustice perpetrated against Indigenous and Black and Brown men who fill prisons around the world. Lies and laws and ignorance and politics. The wheels of change are clogged with centuries of hate as prejudice persists, despite telecommunication tech evidence and expertise of professional medical and scientific evaluations.
