A great show, I’ve hear it advertised a lot but only started listening when I subscribed to wondery. Alice and Matt are great - I love the talking pieces (Michelle Mone by Matt - HILIAROUS). I listen to fall asleep and then relisten to hear the full story. Love the older stories from the 40s/50s/60s. Exceptional, and worth every penny.

Some interesting stories that I hadn’t heard about before in any detail. The research seems really in depth and the interviews with people who have been part of the story (or know it incredibly well) tie past and present together. The presenters are fun and clearly enjoy deep diving into the topics too.
