I mean…if there was ever any doubt that this podcast was for the oldest of the old, just listen to these curmudgeons talk about “Heathers”. Apparently the lead character’s name is Rebecca & not Veronica? I guess they can’t hear lyrics or read Playbills anymore either. And enthusiasm in the theatre should be curtailed for THEIR comfort? My grandparents have more connection to life in 2025 than any of these folks…& my grandparents are dead. So yes, if you’re retired & are afraid of loud sound... more

Long time listener here but won’t be listening to the daily episodes anymore. I really liked having a podcast where I could get theatre news on my commute home each day. Lately the format seems to have shifted. I appreciate opinions about shows, but they’re should at least be respectful?
