Love how these guys jump right into it and don’t waste time shooting the breeze or trying to intertwine comedy in their segments (like Bickley and Marotta). Burns and Gambo have the best chemistry of all three shows. Gambo is full of energy and makes me laugh but he’s kind of all over the place. Phoenix and it’s sports media are pretty bland and the fans have accepted that. Gambo comes in loud and brash but really he’s just trying to be a big fish in a very small pond. You listen to his takes and it’s pretty generic and predictable, the guy is pretending to put on this tough guy NY Act and it just doesn’t fly. I get why he left NY.
