Loved this interview with Matt, well done David.
The guest are always great, love hearing them talk. But the interviewer just seems to have the same 6 questions, every interview, and about the same 8 cultural touchpoints over and over again - which is even worse when they’re completely culturally irrelevant to the guest. Too much of the time it comes across as though he hasn’t done his research or homework, which is a huge missed opportunity. Great guest list though…
Great interview, can’t wait to read the book
Listening from Australia. Awesome variety of music guests interviewed warmly & enthusiastically. Particularly enjoy the British musicians, acts, producers & stories from or covering the 80s (especially pop/new wave). Thanks for such a great podcast. Is a regular listen for me. David’s ‘yes’ replies, are a keeper, love them.
Can we stop hearing about David’s brother’s awful record collection in every episode???
