Although my kids are raised, we are now navigating life as grandparents to 10 with two of them being adopted at age of seven and four from the foster care system. Dr. Kathy offers excellent insight into all things related to raising kids in today’s crazy culture.As a former high school teacher, I really appreciate all the knowledge she brings in an easy to understand way.
I just love it this podcast. I usually listen on my way back from school drop off . Dr Kathy has always something relevant to talk about , and her Christian background is always heart warming . Thank you for sharing.
I have listened to a lot of parenting podcasts, advice, therapists etc. I was really disappointed about this episode. The good things in it were what you shared about Dr Becky’s useful perspective. Your whole show was taking her perspective and critiquing it, versus bringing your own perspective to the table on how to counter entitlement. The fact that Dr Kathy is critiquing someone who he wasn’t familiar with and obviously didn’t understand how she suggests implementing her ideas, is poor taste... more
