This show is incredible. It’s framed around celebrity memoirs but it goes way beyond that, pulling in viral articles, pop culture deep dives, and the kind of side-heist conversations you only get from the funniest, sharpest friends in your life. Chelsea and her guests feel like the coolest, most insightful girlfriends in the world, with the occasional guy who’s clearly been vetted by at least four of them.

I used to love this show when it was Celebrity Book Club and listened every week. The host was a lot more vulnerable, compassionate, and empathetic towards the extraordinary women she was reviewing the memoirs of - sharing openly how the book helped her self-reflect on her own life, behavior and places she could grow. As Glamorous Trash it really is aptly named - Devantez now seems to take just take a lot of pleasure in judging and ripping apart the memoirist like they are all just idiots and sh... more
