The podcast that takes one random episode of Top Of The Pops - the greatest TV Pop show ever - and breaks it down to its very last compound. Created by Sarah Bee, Neil Kulkarni, Taylor Parkes, Simon Price and David Stubbs (who all wrote for Melody Maker) and hosted by Al Needham (who didn't), it's an unflinching gaze into the open wound of pop culture and a celebration of Thursday evenings past.

I love this show so so much! But PLEASE keep politics out of it. Listening to David talk proudly about ripping down a St George’s flag is infuriating. Along with him & Simon promoting Queer theory. I stand with the LGB by the way 100%. And then there was the pushing of the vaccine! Know anyone who “died suddenly” ? 😣😞 Stick to music. PLEASE.
Greatest podcast ever. Completely mint and skill and very wrong about Echo and the Bunnymen
Have just discovered this podcast and honestly it’s just right. As it takes me back to that era and brings back memories. Love it and although still on the early episodes. What I’ve heard so far is brilliant!
Came across this podcast purely by accident but slowly dipped my toe into now and again until I finally succumbed to it. Now I am absolutely hooked love it. Highly recommended great people on it who have a wide knowledge of all things pop.
