One of the things that absolutely amazes me about this podcast is that even though Chris is from a punk ska band, he does not exclusively focus, even on the rock genre. In fact, I think the only genre he hasn’t covered is classical. He’s even highlighted Stryper and Five Iron Frenzy, both heavily Christian artists (and was wonderfully respectful with language when they were on). This show is brilliant and Chris has the ability to break down such an eclectic catalog of songs from so many eras and genres without judgment. His appreciation for the process of songwriting is a breath of fresh air and is evident in the guests’ reactions to his dissection of their art.
