張果老一心修道，不求世間榮華富貴，堅定求道，歷經了漫長歲月和百般艱難。世傳他有長生不老之術，唐太宗、唐高宗屢次徵召他，都被他婉拒。武則天也召他出山，張果老無奈，就在廟前裝死，時值盛夏，不一會他的身體就開始腐爛發臭。武則天聽後只好作罷，但不久就有人在恆州的山中再次見到他。

有人說「四・二五」是江澤民、羅幹一夥給法輪功設下的陷阱。的確有一點像《水滸傳》裏「林沖誤闖白虎堂」的故事。
相似的這部分是，林沖被想霸佔他妻子的高俅父子找人故意帶入白虎堂這個他不該進入的機要重地；法輪功學員被江、羅找人故意指向中南海這個政府重地。
不像的地方是，林沖是去看他仰慕的一口寶刀，而法輪功學員是為了自己和眾人信仰真、善、忍的權益；林沖是稀裏糊塗被歹徒算計，法輪功學員則明知壞人在算計，依然明明白白、合理合法地去做自己該做的正事。

我出生於七十年代，年少時，對中共抱有遠大的理想和希望，對其所說的幾乎百依百順。原有的善良本性加上對中共的順從，所以不管在學校還是踏入社會，我都受人歡迎，很快就成為別人夢寐以求的中共體制內的一員。少先隊、共青團及黨，我總是在同齡人中最先加入這三個組織的人之一。
我曾經信心滿滿地想成為電視、報紙宣傳的好幹部、人民好公僕，但是我漸漸發現，中共黨員都具有兩種互相矛盾的性格，還謊言連篇。只是那時我覺得中共是好的，是其黨員沒有做好，所以我不斷努力工作，想以自己的價值為中共塗脂抹粉，誰說中共不好我就不高興。... more
我今年八十歲，別人說看上去六十多歲模樣，精神煥發，開朗樂觀，身輕體健，走起路來，兩隻腳像不願粘地似的，年輕人也攆不上。我每天背個大兜子，一邊買東西一邊給人講大法真相，總是樂呵呵的。鄰居熟人都說我：八十歲的老太太比年輕人精力還充沛。
