I needed this. I don’t normally read this genre and for some reason it kept coming up as a recommendation so I gave it a go. I think it is more geared toward older teens and young adults and I appreciated the PG level language. I really hate books that use too much foul language and this book kept it minimal.The story was part ghost story-part murder mystery done in a split timeline that worked well. This e-book has formatting issues that cause all quotation marks to appear as a wonky set of characters. It is virtually unreadable. I bought and held too long before checking it out, so I missed the return window. I'll be sure to check books out sooner from now on. Never had this happen before, but googled the issue and found it happens with poor QC sometimes.
