I am so glad you did the recent episode on the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and Typhoon Halong. Thank you for covering their stories.

This podcast has been an essential part of decolonizing my mind over the past decade. I’m thankful for its dedication to storytelling as first person narratives have painted my world into such a brighter, wider context. And still, whenever Gene signs off with “Be easy,” I still hear Sharen in my mind responding with “Peace.”
This podcast popped up for me while listening to NPR. I love the dialogue and reflection it promotes. Oh and the host Gene had the smoothest voice! Thank you NPR!
