I used to really enjoy this podcast, but it’s gone downhill. They’re really sporadic in releasing content, sometimes going 3 weeks without an episode. They also favor teams more than others (or at least the buffalo sabres) and are pretty critical of players beliefs when they don’t line up with their own. They’ve called some players horrible human beings for saying something they believe in which I just don’t think is fair to say especially when members of your audience share similar beliefs to t... more
I used to really enjoy every podcast that got released, but now I find that I skip about 10-15 minutes of every episode because of Brett’s weekly talk of the buffalo sabres. He’ll say it’s sabres housekeeping, but for a general hockey podcast you shouldn’t have housekeeping items for specific teams. I get it because he’s a fan of theirs so he likes talking about them, but it would be better if he just started a sabres podcast in addition to this one.
One of the many hockey podcasts I listen to religiously. The guys are very knowledgeable and entertaining. One improvement I would suggest is including time stamps for topic changes.
If you have inside knowledge, then ask how to say the first liners names. A legit hockey podcast should know how to pronounce the names of #1 overall picks.
NRD saves the show. The other guy only wants to talk about the Buffalo Sabers. It’s awkward.
