I grew up in Walkden, Manchester and have listened to (although never met) Colin Curtis many times on radio and in clubs. In the north he is a legendary figure. I followed dj’s such as Colin, Mike Shaft, Richard Searling, etc and by and large loved the marvellous music they have played.
