Using a podcast that profits and benefits from BIPOC pain as a “source” is vile. Do yourself a favor, buy a book by an actual BIPOC person ie Henry Louis Gates, Jr. then this podcast might have a legitimate source. (If you don’t know Dr. Gates is a Black Harvard professor who is the dean of African American studies). But yay this podcast has all white sources by white people who are “well researched” (aka someone who went to a now defunct university).
I love all things Disney, but I love spooky stuff, too. This is seriously a combination of my favorite things! Also, the host sounds just so well-informed. I feel like he really knows what he’s talking about.
The main guy just draggggggs on his words like he had to stretch 5 minutes into 30 minutes just real slow and his laugh at the end of every sentence gets old really quick.
I wish I could like this show, but after giving 2-3 episodes a try I just can’t listen. Content is great- if it were a book or a blog I would greatly enjoy it. But so hard to listen to between the giggles and nervous laughter. Also, the main host comes off as pompous, which definitely turns me off.
If you're into spooky things and Disney, then this is the podcast for you! The show talks about a variety of things including movies, theme park attractions (mostly Disney Parks related), Halloween events and the Disney fandom. The hosts have good insight on whatever topic they're discussing with entertaining comments.
