  • Some misinformation!

This podcast used to be excellent, which is why the most recent episode on weight loss drugs was so disappointing. While discussing the black market is important, the sweeping statements about side effects were inaccurate and poorly informed. The contributor speaking on this topic appeared to lack even a basic understanding and seemed to speculate rather than reference evidence.

Please do the homework on such a sensitive and complex subject. I hope to hear Nicola back soon. Until then, I will b... more

  • Incredible Podcast

This podcast has been so well researched & shows a much deeper more insidious story than the documentary!! This man was a psychopath in plain sight, free to weld terror amongst these young girls from such an early age!! Cresswell was a plague causing so much devastation! 😔

  • Topics are interesting but hosts are difficult to listen to.

I’m really interested in the topics that crime words covers, however the male host uses far too many filler words and takes far too long to get to the point.

Nicola’s replacement, Eimear is also difficult to listen to, runs over her words and also sounds like she is sucking in air/spit which is very uncomfortable to listen to,especially whilst wearing earphones. It’s like amateur hour.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Black Dahlia: Murder, Monsters, and Madness in Midcentury Hollywood
Q: What do you kind of hope readers take away from this version of The Black Dahlia?
A much better understanding of Elizabeth Short and what women were experiencing in the years after World War II.
Tinder for Nazis
Q: And what were these men and kind of, what are they to say about themselves? Like were they deeply rooted into this idea of this white supremacy in their actual profiles?
Yes, there was a lot of talk of men talking about being red-pilled and their desire for purity in relationships.
Tinder for Nazis
Q: What did you find when you went on? Was there a percentage of men, women, or were they kind of open profiles? Were they actual pictures of actual people?
It was almost exclusively male. I only find two females in Ireland. The profiles are just very sad, mostly 95% men.
Tinder for Nazis
Q: So, Steven, tell me about this Tinder for Nazis, which is an incredible headline, of course, caught my eye. Seriously, it is Tinder for Nazis?
It was dubbed by one of the journalists who was looking into this, who helped expose this. This was from a hacktivist in Germany, who was able to access this site called White Date.
Drogheda feud victim Richie Carberry's brother blames Robbie Lawlor for his death
Q: How would Stephen Carberry conduct himself during this?
He stayed calm and showed no emotion.
