I love this podcast and the hosts are amazing. I wish I could give 5 stars, but there is one issue I wish they would fix: they go back and forth from speaking so softly it’s hard to hear to speaking loudly. I don’t know if this is exacerbated by them getting their mouths closer and further away from the mic (kind of sounds like it?). I listen while I’m doing other things. When they start speaking so quietly they’re practically whispering, I’ll turn up the volume to hear. I inevitably end up jump... more

It’s insane to me how this podcast is fairly new and you guys are already charging people a subscription to listen. Don’t you make enough money off your other podcast? And to add, the stories you’re telling are just washed up ones that we can listen to for free from other podcasters and the stories are true and a lot of them you’re not getting the stories correct on. This is just a money grab for you greedy girls to get more money. Shame on you.

I will continue to listen, but there is a lot of information you are retelling incorrectly.
For example: In the episode on Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate it was stated that she was released from prison because the Supreme Court ended automatic life without parole for children. That didn’t happen until 2010. Caril Ann Fugate was granted parole in 1976 after a parole board review. Just making stuff up on the fly isn’t going to cut it.
