  • Finally!

I’ve always enjoyed the content Amber puts out but something was always off to me, I finally figured it out! It wasn’t the super annoying ads or off hand remarks she makes in the midst of the story, it’s her annoying boyfriend chirping up and ruining the whole dang thing. This would be a 3.5 star if she would just remove him entirely from the production. It adds nothing and makes the ads unbearable. Listeners beware!!

  • Voice

I can’t get past Amber’s voice. It sounds like she is straining and over, emphasizing her words. Very unnatural. Journalist, perhaps. Public speaker, I would say that’s not her gift.

  • The Murder Farm of Jasper County

I am from down the road where this happened, born and raised and always heard about this story. Williams is buried in the cemetery that my family is buried in. I have read the book about this story, “Lay This Body Down”. It is a great read and will make you cry for the people who were involved. It is a terrible tragedy and you did a great job telling it!
