Three objects vanish in full view, a phone, a ring, a driver’s license and hours later a sealed box an audience member has guarded all night reveals them all. That’s the finale Luke Oseland built to feel like a live heist, and it says everything abou... more
The motorbike appears four feet from the front row. A lady floats just beyond the lip of the stage. That proximity rewires what audiences believe about illusion and it’s exactly where Harry DeCruz loves to live: smiling, present, and letting pure ast... more
What if the strongest magic isn’t about flashy props, but about influence, structure, and respect for your audience? We sit down with magician Ben Sidwell to map an eight-trick card set that’s lean on gimmicks and heavy on intention, designed to scal... more

Brilliant concept for a magic podcast! Jamie does an amazing job at bringing these conversations to life. It’s an amazing format that opens your eyes to how vast and varied our community is. I’ve taken something from every episode, whether it’s an effect I hadn’t given thought to before, or a tid bit of performance advice. Keep them coming!!
I am enjoying this podcast so much. I am just a hobbyist and am learning so much about effects and how to routine them. I have added several to my wishlist and a couple of good books, too. Keep it coming! Thanks, Jamie and Alakazam.
This is a really fantastic magic /mentalism podcast. The premise is fun and each guest brings a different perspective and vibe to the questions and format. I am really enjoying hearing about all the guests’ Desert Island Tricks. Their book selections are great, too!
Started listening with little expectation, one episode in it’s probably my favourite Magic podcast, I’m quickly binging most of the episodes on long drives.
And I’m currently compiling my list, which is a great thought exercise
A definite more than weekly listen for me now. I’ve followed this podcast from day one and always enjoy the chat and insight from Jamie and the guests (I especially enjoyed Alex McAleer’s recent appearance). It’s great to hear both known and unknown names in the world of magic discuss their favourite tricks and their twists and presentations in new and classic effects.
Well worth a listen if magic is your thing.
