  • Was great.

Now it’s just a copy paste of every other true crime podcast with the added bonus of 10+ mins of ads. It’s like reading the Wikipedia page to you.

The most recent episode had the guy telling a story that is still active and in the courts. Instead of holding off on the timing for the outcome, and reading through some other case, he records and releases this mess with no resolution for some reason. Why??? Amateur hour.

    Unfollowed.

  • Meh no thank you

The show was good, now it’s not so much. And now there’s sprinkled in Trump support commercials. That was the last straw I didn’t come here for garbage politics.

  • Yawn

Do you guys ever plan on releasing new episodes that address a case in depth? Because it kind of seems like you put in the work up front and then just called in a bunch of favors when you couldn’t keep it fresh. Do better or walk.

  • Podcast format unknown

This podcast started out strong with a multi-episode case, and now it is just one-offs with weird topics. Like tonight’s, about sleep! Wut?

The reactions among the families were largely one of relief, with many expressing feelings of good riddance towards Rolling.
Encore: Witness to an Execution
Q: How did you feel leading up to your first execution versus after witnessing it?
Michael Mayo felt ambivalent about the process and bore personal responsibility as a citizen, but he was surprised at how non-traumatic the experience felt afterwards.
(Part 5) Homicide and Hate: The Way Out
Q: Was there a kind of a line in the sand or was there a moment in your process of leaving and getting out that you look back on and think that's when the light switch turned on?
Tyler reflects that a mock trial he participated in showed him how much he had changed; he was struggling to fit back into a racist mentality during the practice session, which made him realize his progress.
(Part 5) Homicide and Hate: The Way Out
Q: Can you talk to me about what the conversation was like in those circles after Brandon was arrested? Was he sort of put on a pedestal?
Tyler explains that the conversation was split; some viewed him as an idiot who got caught, while others saw him as a figure to follow because he figured out the system.
