It has promise but too frequently strays into pretty basic opinion without backing up with data. They spent the first 25mins of the latest episode talking in circles about Bruno in midfield without once discussing evidence. Had to stop listening as it just became irritating.
A long way off the standards set by NQAT or Muppetiers.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years, but I might just have reached my limit of irritation now. Aaron and Kees are clearly knowledgable and watches a lot of football. They have a lot in-depth views and ideas about the tactics of Man United. I am fine with their niche framework of really digging deep into the tactics and leave several other factors aside. I like that they are a bit different to other pods, more confined.

Been listening for a couple years (shoutout Jon Mackenzie for introducing me to DitD). I appreciate Aaron’s & Kees’ analysis during their discussions, and it has driven me into looking at football through a more data-driven lens. While I sometimes come for personal bias confirmation, I also enjoy listening *because* I don’t always agree with them. I really enjoy these guys. They care, they put a lot of effort into the show and they know their stuff. They do way more analysis than your average football podcast. Definitely worth a listen
