  • Sublime generosity

Meditations, practice and wisdom on this podcast is excellent. I have been so lucky to be led here. If there were one thing I might prefer to be done differently is improving the quality of recordings. Teach people how to use a microphone correctly, adjust sound levels, address background white noise hum, and apply some noise cancellation. With deepest respect.

  • The wisest and best dharma teachers!!

You won’t regret listening to these talks by some of the best Buddhist insight practitioners and instructors in the world. You can listen to many different teachers and decide which ones speak to you ( or not). Highly recommend. Also: they need our support to keep their centers going and to make a living themselves. Thank you!! 🙏🏼

  • Great content, unfortunate limitation of episodes available on iTunes

Excellent selection - but limited to the recent 20 episodes or so. Thus, if you download to listen later the episodes might be already gone. I guess it’s an exercise in mindfulness of impermanence.

Q: What are your thoughts on feeling stuck in meditation progress?
Progress in meditation is tricky; it's not just about how quiet the mind gets, but about how identified you are with your thoughts. Just observing thoughts without taking them personally is key.
James Baraz: For Goodness Sake: Consciously Cultivating the Wholesome

We live it in awareness; we recognize if it's pleasant or unpleasant and note it.
Ayya Santussika: Gratitude and Thankfulness
Q: What did you think of the suttas?
The suttas can be challenging to assimilate through the language, but reflecting on them in the context of personal experience usually helps to gain a better understanding.

Q: Could I explain compassion for yourself?
When struggling with challenges, we often judge ourselves harshly. Instead, we can offer kindness and compassion, acknowledging that it is part of being human to struggle.
