  • Goated

This show is as good as it gets. As long as you can tolerate a 15-30 min segment each show (and I mean every show) about how much better LeBron is than MJ. Otherwise a great show!

  • Turn down for never

Ruther, Praino & the rest give good podcast. Not sure about a lot of what they're going on about (does it really matter if colleges play each other at anything?) but then again I'm happy with a 5 day cricket Test.......... Looking forward to the day someone truly snaps and goes postal - my money is on Goldberg @johncarson64

  • Interesting US sports pod with Middle Aged man vibe

For the most part a really enjoyable pod that mixes sports opinion with a left field combination of comedy, social commentary and middle aged man issues.

I really enjoy listening to it when I’m walking my dog who benefits from an extra long walk as I like to finish the pod before we get home.

Joe needs to seek some professional treatment for his obsession with Taylor Swift.

9/10 Keep up the good work!

  • The best

I have a short attention span and it’s hard for me to care about anything for a long period of time. I’ve listened to this podcast for 6 years and haven’t missed one episode. I don’t know what I would do without Praino and Ruther.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EPISODE 1197: Eli vs Big Ben
Q: So Joe, for a final time, why is Eli better than Big Ben?
Joe argues that Eli Manning had to perform at a high level while playing on poorly constructed teams, whereas Roethlisberger consistently benefited from a well-rounded Steelers team.
EPISODE 1177: The Bears are Trapped in the Fridge
Q: If you could choose any player from any of the teams that you're a fan of and put them on a different team that you follow?
I think I would take a basketball player off the Knicks and put them on my football team.
EPISODE 1168: Jerry Jones' Three Shell Monty
Q: Would you rather be forced for your team to be owned by Jerry Jones or Mike Brown?
The hosts debated the merits of both owners, ultimately leaning towards preferring not to be under Jerry Jones due to his ego-centric management style.
EPISODE 1157: Coach O is the Bert Kreischer of Football
Q: What do you think about the media's coverage of the Malik Beasley gambling story?
It seems like the NBA is protecting the story as it was not prominently covered on major sports news sites.
EPISODE 1149: Pacers in 6
Q: How do you feel about the Knicks' chances in the playoffs this year?
I think the Knicks and Pacers are evenly matched, and it will be a competitive series that stays close throughout, but ultimately, I'd still pick the Knicks to win in six games.
