  • Sophomoric & juvenile

Did my best. Got 30 min into a show. All they did was tell all the action in the movie, in uninteresting detail. They didn’t understand any of the nuances of the movie. Meanings went right over their heads. They just made fun of things without grasping what was really going on. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and turned it off.

  • Progressive, Supportive, Informative & Affirming

I listen to this when I need zero stress. It’s light entertainment I can enjoy. But there is something deeper going on at the same time. Bonus that Joe does a bit of a history ... more

  • Unbalanced, but still kinda fair

I was turned on to this podcast because a few of my other favorite podcasters have been on as guests. I listened to their shows and chuckled a bit, and the listened to a few more due to auto play and being out of other podcasts. Not going to lie…very fair to middling podcast. While it doesn’t follow the “two white guys yammering” stereotype, it’s not far off. As far as I can tell neither host has any qualification to talk about film, and seem, quite often to miss the point. This is especially tr... more
