  • Grateful

[episode: 1/17/22 When Dramas Ruin you for Real Life] Your mention of my beloved Shut Up, Flower Boy Band inspired me to drop everything and express my general, heartfelt thanks: I’ve listened to many good podcasts about Asian drama and music. DOF is, by far, the most articulate, engaging and consistently informative. I’m making my way through every episode. Anisa, Paroma and Saya: again, thank you!

  • Great kdrama podcast

Witty, thoughtful, and conscientious, this podcast strikes a lovely balance between the desire to turn your brain off and enjoying some fluff - and doesn’t condemn doing just that - and dissecting works further and the implications that these stories can hold. I’ve been looking for a good kdrama podcast, and this scratched that itch. I especially appreciate the hosts being mindful of the culture these works come from and discussing how they translate to international audiences while still keepin... more
