I get my Husker fix nearly every morning via the Early Break. The trio of Jake, Sip and Busch make for great interplay, discussions and humor. They each bring their unique perspectives and Bill has particularly elevated the insights into college athletics. Great show!
Enjoy the dynamic on this show, but I have lately found myself skipping most days lately. I don’t mind that the show is split up by segment with adds at the begging and end, but the mid segment jump to adds is extremely irritating. The volume is twice as loud as the actual show and it always seems to fall during conversation I’m interested in. On top of that, every live add read is followed by several minutes of Bill creating some sort of mythology about the sponsor.
If you like SEC jocksniffers in the Midwest this is your show.
Love the show but it’s becoming a gossip show of random takes instead of a radio show about Nebraska sports like it once was. Please talk about more football!
Great show, love what you do. But tired of hearing about Miami Dolphins. Save it, try talking about NFC North or something worth listening to. Don’t care about Miami, very few dolphin fans here. Suggest Jake drop Dolphins and take up the Chiefs.
