It starts as an innocent mum-chat and ends in a full-blown research spiral: when are you meant to send your kid to school… and why does it feel like everyone’s suddenly delaying?

It’s Friday - so we’re doing our weekly peaks and pits: a proper catch-up between friends, equal parts vent and tiny victory lap.

It’s so good to have Kee back! The podcast wasn’t the same without her. I also have two kids the same age as her so it feels like I’m catching up with a like minded mum friend each week when I listen. Parenting is the hardest job I’ve ever had but this podcast really makes me feel less alone on this crazy journey.
Always such a great listen!

Really love that you had Dr Kyla on the pod as an expert before talking about food and fussy eating. She’s amazing. More of that please!!
I feel like in the past few months the hosts have gotten really mean spirited and superior toward other women and moms and parents. It’s hard to say if it’s something I’m just noticing or if it has gotten worse. It’s just not something that feels helpful or constructive for me anymore, and I don’t feel like this is an energy that is constructive in the parenting world right now. I would love to see less focus on not being like the other girls/moms/families.
