I want to write a review but just watched documentary you all went thru. So lucky or blessed and protected by god that no one died. God please bless all these ladies in jesus name. I am blessed to have never went thru anything like this in my life. I am 70 year old lady with lots of watching tv time on my hand.
I’m writing this review based on the first season, even though I have listened to other seasons. This is bothered me since then. I found this to be interesting and relatable, but I did have an issue with your characterization of borderline personality disorder because it was not accurate. Things that were attributed to BPD were not typical of BPD in my experience and I think that’s damaging to the stigma that that’s already attached to it.
I had my own Brandon as a 16 year old but his name was Patrick. He was from NY and was living in my state in UT. So many similarities about these types of men. Charming, being everything you want and need but then the light switches and the monster arises. The horrible things that he did, gaslighting, controlling then abusive.
