  • I miss the OG - what happened?!

    I was an early and enthusiastic listener of this podcast - absolutely loved it and excitedly awaited each new episode and season. I am so disappointed to say that it has gone steadily downhill and now is “meh” at best. I keep waiting for a “turnaround”, but am becoming increasingly disheartened. The title, “Family Secrets” now doesn’t even seem to fit - it would be more aptly titled, “Interviews with Memoirists” as the podcast seems little more than a platform for new writers to promote their wo... more

  • I love Dani, not the ads

    I am all for ads and the financial gain. However, this season, I noticed that the ads are on steroids. One of the ad breaks in the episode, baby X, was six minutes long and I didn’t keep track of the others, which were also very long. I am driving when I’m listening to the podcast and it’s difficult for me to bypass the ads safely. If there is a way to reduce the ad breaks or how long they are, this would be a five star podcast.
