I thought the pivot was going to be MtG and was a little bummed but now it's Cutthroat Kitchen and me and my partner have been binging episodes for 26 hours straight and oh god what if it's just a bit? How will I know their opinions on DJ Chef or "Brian?" Ahh!

  • Great podcast about R.E.M.

Just a great podcast about R.E.M.

  • Vaguely interesting. Very flawed.

Episode 8. Document. They describe The One I Love as a “bad, boring song”. Just one example of the mystifying range of opinions these 2 supposed REM fans proffered during this vaguely interesting but ultimately very flawed podcast. They often criticise REM for not using enough chords in choruses or simple melodies in a world where most pop / rock music is literally based on a couple of chords and simple melodies! Their opinions on key songs in REM’s catalogue are often baffling, the amount of ti... more
