I don’t have anything fancy to say, just that I’m grateful for Chris’ heart for God and for this podcast being one of the ways he brings the gospel to people. I had the pleasure of working with Chris and glad to still hear his voice and perspective. While the podcast is through the lens of the workplace, I often find helpful applications to many other areas of life. Well done!
This is my new favorite podcast!
It truly lives up to its title. It’s helping me to see my work life, and even my personal life, in a more purposeful, God-centered way. Chris is an excellent storyteller that is able to take scripture and explain how we can apply it to our work, no matter what type of work we do, whether at home or in an office setting. And he does it in around 20 minutes or less!
He ends each episode with prayer and reflection which leaves me encouraged, inspired and rea... more
There’s a lot out there about faith and work these days, but Chris rises above the others by offering a biblically-based perspective to help us form a healthy perspective of work and our faith. He doesn’t rest on trite views of work but draws directly from Scripture and makes relevant points for us, offering a good corrective for distorted ideas of work.
Love the podcast! It beautifully integrates scripture with historical context, real-life examples, and practical applications for work life. Chris did a fantastic job!
The recently launched podcast, Finding God at Work, which begins with the Imagining Work series, is eye-opening and challenging. Even though retired, it made me reconsider how I think (what narrative I tell myself) about my day-to-day work and activities. Am I integrating my faith into what I do every day? The series provides new insights and practical steps for inviting Jesus to help believers live out a beautiful, God-directed story.
