I am a CHD patient who had the Fontan procedure done. In the “What is CHD?” episode, I was reminded of my Health Passport! As mentioned, it can be tricky to explain your CHD to a physician as it is often confusing! I received a health passport from my cardiologist that contains my diagnosis, procedures, typical vitals and EKG, as well as a diagram of my heat anatomy. With this I can really rest assured that my physicians will get correct information they need. I carry this with me everywhere ... more
